Storyline:

KGF 2 picks up right where the first film leaves off, but there's a twist: Prakash Raj steps in for Anant Nag. Although both actors are superb actors, the replacement, or at least the brief moment of perplexity, felt a little like a break. In the movie, Rocky (Yash) gets control of Kolar Gold Fields and establishes his vast empire, but destiny has other things in store for him since Garuda's brother Adheera (Sanjay Dutt) enters the picture, clearly with a grander scheme. The main conflict of the plot is how Rocky deals with the dangerous Adheera, Ramika Sen, the then-prime minister of India (Raveena Tandon), and his girlfriend Reena (Srinidhi Shetty), in the context of events that force him to leave KGF.
